Nathanael Volke

Inspiration and optimisation for your video production

actors creating their own digital presentation

This open workshop is aimed at anyone who already has some experience in video production and needs a little more professional know-how to realise their own smaller productions.

The workshop is a supplementary offer within the framework of the training programme The Actor’s ID, in which the participants will create their own digital calling card.

The video artist and producer Nathanael Volke will present various ways in which you can improve your filmic result with relatively simple but effective means. Above all, this should serve as inspiration on how to realise artistic ideas without professional equipment. Using short film examples, we will analyse lighting and camera work together. Afterwards, you will receive simple suggestions on how to achieve almost similar results in your own video productions.

With this workshop, Nathanael Volke supports the digital self-empowerment of actors to express themselves artistically and to present themselves in a high-quality way with the technical means that are available everywhere today

Requirements for the realisation of the workshop content:
– Digital video camera with at least FullHD resolution (1920x1080p), e.g. smartphone with a digital camera with appropriate video function.
– Computer with administrator rights for software installation of the free video editing program ShotCut. Please install before.
– Camera tripod, movable light (flashlight, LED video light)
