This course is about the unity of the Theatre and its diversity – the complexity of so many facets. Theatre is one, but of course it is important to know the difference between one type of theatre and another. We will focus on the basic philosophies of theatre, not out of curiosity or a desire to be seen as a scholar, but in order to learn the specific view on which an actor builds a role and plays a different way, a director composes a play, and a teacher conducts training. The theatre is one, but it has many shades. The play of shades is more important than anything else. The evolution of the theatre is based on the indivisibility of its variety of types and forms. Theatres generated by different knowledge systems, special mentality, culture and history touch and interact with each other, and cooperate to form new theatrical connections and paths of development. Today, he is an interesting actor, director or teacher, who knows the shades of many theatre movements and can easily switch from one language to another, moreover, who naturally unites them in his artistic and pedagogical practice. This is the basis for a holistic theatre. The holistic principle is the main vector of theatre development in the future.

The application of the holistic principle in theatre is not a question of political or philosophical view, but requires in practice a change of consciousness and anchoring in a holistic mode of perception.
