The new Face of the Acting Teacher

The Teacher as artists and researcher

Thought creates. Our ideas about theatre create theatre itself.
When thinking changes, reality changes.

The world of theatre is changing faster than we can come up with a name for it.

To teach the actors of the future, you have to become a researcher yourself.

The transfer of knowledge no longer works according to the laws of linearity.

Knowledge is a field in which energy is born.

Quantum pedagogy is the art of keeping living knowledge in a state of motion.

The classroom becomes a space where discoveries are born.

The teacher does not explain — he creates conditions in which meaning emerges.

Become part of the first generation of quantum theatre teachers

In this master class, you will encounter a new philosophy of teaching, where a lesson is understood as a living organism and the teacher as a field in which knowledge and ignorance, order and chaos, thought and action come together.

The five principles of quantum training will become your guidelines:

Unity — everything is connected to everything else.

Uncertainty — a source of inspiration, not a mistake.

Superposition — the ability to be in several states at once.

Entanglement — the energy of connection between teacher and student.

Tunneling — the art of passing through the impossible.

The New Face of the Acting Teacher is not just a workshop. It is a change of perspective, an opportunity to see teaching as a space of discovery, where the energy of the lesson does not disappear but continues in each student. This master class will change your self-perception as a teacher.

Become a Master in the Art of Training

The new Face of the Acting Teacher reveals itself particularly in the fact that every topic and teaching goal can be achieved through exercises. You will learn to use the complex world of exercises, a comprehensive system developed by Jurij Alschitz over decades of international work. You will be given over 100 Exercises to implement the various teaching subjects. More importantly, you will learn how to develop own exercises on this basis, thereby achieving infinite flexibility. Teachers become creators of their own system, masters of their own craft.

Through the Art of Training, Jurij Alschitz will address those topics that are relevant to every teacher.

  • Training as Method – The Art of Assignment
  • The entrance examination: Who is examining whom?
  • The vision of my school – learning and teaching processes
  • Acting in nothingness – contemporary techniques for actors in superposition
  • Teaching in dialogue – teaching dialogue
  • Ensemble – the basis for personality development a.o.
